Carolina Kollmann, MA
Carolina started her formal art education at the University of Fine Arts "Prilidiano Pueyrredon" in Buenos Aires. As an Argentine national she was awarded an international scholarship for Advanced Studies of Fine Art at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, England.
During this time Carolina discovered her own figurative painting style, characterized by solid structures and the sense of colour that accentuates shape and gives a sculptured appearance to her paintings. In 1997 she received an award by Avon and has been frequently reviewed by Art critics in the national and international press.
Carolina relocated from London to live in Asia 2005 where she has continued to produce and exhibit new work adding her own 3D technic in Singapore and Hong Kong. She currently lives in Hong Kong where she teaches Art and participates in Solo and group exhibitions for Charity and Professional Associations.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and she has sold several works. Carolina’s work was published in the Chinese language Wen Wei Po newspaper. Her work was also featured as an article in the Asia Times which gained significant interest and also in Around DB magazine after exhibiting her work at La Rotunda, Exchange Square in Hong Kong.
