About the Artist Carolina has recently relocated from London to live in Singapore; she started her formal art education at the University of Fine Arts “Prilidiano Pueyrredon” in Argentina. An Argentine national she was awarded an international scholarship for Advanced Studies of Fine Art specialising in painting at the “Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design” London, England. During this time Carolina discovered her own figurative painting style, characterised by solid structures. The sense of colour accentuates shape and gives a ‘sculptured’ appearance to her paintings. She has been exhibited internationally and has sold several works. In 1997 her work received an award by Avon Cosmetics. Her work has also been frequently reviewed by art critics in the national press and various magazines. Her experience on mural commissions started back in 1990 when she received her first commission for the toy department at Harrods, Buenos Aires. She has already produced a number of new works in Singapore at her studio with a view to exhibit in South-East Asia sometime in the near future.
